Athletic Experience

I have competed in many sports over the years – water skiing, sailing, golf, cycling and swimming. I was third in wrestling for the state of Florida and have participated in numerous triathlons. Besides training six days a week, I continue to wakeboard, snow ski, sail and water ski.

Background

I have starred in over thirty action motion pictures in which staying in shape was always a priority. My career in personal training began in Los Angeles in 1980, where the best professionals in the field mentored me. Lou Ferrigno and I worked in the most exclusive personal training facility in L.A. The Santa Monica Bodybuilding Center.

Personal Struggle and Success:

I myself had two back surgeries in the fall of 2009 due to a herniated disc. I was in bed for over three months and looking at a very long and painful recovery. In the summer of 2010 I swam across the Peconic Bay with a distance of four and a half miles and did it in two hours and forty minutes. All you need is will power and determination and you can overcome and succeed in anything you put your mind to.

Let me introduce myself.  My name is Gregory Trent  known to my friends as GT.   I am very passionate about my job as a personal fitness trainer.  I design  programs to meet specific needs of the client.  I am 43 years old and have been transforming lives for over 20 years.

My goal is to inspire and motivate the client.

I am a certified TPI instructor,  and recently achieved my certification as a counselor.  I believe well balanced nutrition and a consistent exercise routine is the foundation for a pure life.  My specialties are male and female clients who are looking to meet specific goals, especially strengthening and toning total body.  I do not stick to one type of routine.

My training sessions are specifically designed to each client; they are unique and personalized to each individual.  Exercise enhances every part of your physical and mental well-being. There are no  limits but the ones we place on ourselves. Reaching your fitness goal is my personal promise to you. Give me your dedication, I’ll give you motivation and commitment.
